One Day’s Pay is a grassroots campaign launched in 2021 on Canada’s first National Day for Truth and Reconciliation to mobilize settlers and non-Indigenous citizens to recognize and commemorate the tragic history and ongoing legacy of residential schools. We raise our hands with immense gratitude to One Day’s Pay, The Circle on Philanthropy and the Vancity Community Foundation for nominating Stqeeye’ Learning Society and providing campaign support and amplification.

 Funds raised through ODP will reconnect Elders and Indigenous Youth through land-based learning, cultural knowledge sharing, and leadership development. Contributions will also support Indigenous food sovereignty and the restoration of traditional food systems, empowering youth to strengthen their identity, leadership, and connection to the land.
